Dr. Sharilynn (Shari) Hunt DMin is the retired founder of New Creation Realities Ministry, Inc. (2004-2019). Previously she had a career as a social worker and medical case manager in the healthcare industry for over eighteen years.  

Sharilynn holds a BA degree from the University of Georgia and an MS degree from Memphis State University. Following a career as a medical social worker, she became an ordained minister and completed a Doctor of Ministries degree from Shalom Bible College and Seminary. Never dreaming she would become a writer, Sharilynn began sharing her stories in local anthologies. As a lover of her own devotional time each morning, Sharilynn wrote a 31-day devotional book, Grace Overcomes Today. She also leads prayer workshops using her Together WE Pray manual for building effective prayer groups. 

Sharilynn has used many of her past encounters for her inspirational stories in numerous local anthologies and the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, Bethany, and Guideposts publications. 

She and her husband, David, reside in Bartlett, TN, and are the parents of two grown children, Shelley and Aaron (Kristi) with four amazing grandchildren. They love to travel and pray over the land with a goal of completing all fifty US states.
